Sakshi and Akhil’s Ginger wins Courtyard by Marriott’s Kids Master Class

fiogf49gjkf0d Providing a platform for budding master chefs to display their culinary skills, Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon hosted the Kids Master Class finale recently. The kids enthusiastically participated in the cookoff contest which was the culmination of the month-long master class conducted by executive chef Amit Dash along with his team.
The group was divided into five teams comprising two kids each and had to prepare a main course dish along with a dessert. In all, 10 recipes were prepared out of 30 recipes which were demonstrated to the kids throughout the month.
Kids between the age group of 8 and 15 years learned to cook their favourite food in the class and explored their talents with signature recipes. Each class was followed by an elaborate buffet lunch put together by Dash.
During the finale, every participant received a personalised apron along with a recipe card binder. The kids dished out mouth-watering dishes for which the judges had a tough choice to make. The winning team was team Ginger which prepared Lettuce and Parmesan Salad and Chocolate cupcakes which were a big hit amongst the judges. Sakshi and Akhil, the winners, received a complimentary weekend getaway at the hotel.
