fiogf49gjkf0d QwikCilver Solutions, one of India’s leading gift card technology firms, has forayed into the organised restaurant space and tied up with Pan India Food Solutions Pvt Ltd’s fine dining chain BlueFoods to launch gift cards.
These gift cards can be activated at a minimum payment of Rs 500, and reloaded at any of the brand’s eateries in Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Pune and Chennai.
It runs a number of restaurant chains, including Spaghetti Kitchen, Gelato Italiano, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Bombay Blue and Noodle Bar, and the food courts, Food Talk and Spoon.
K S Narayanan, chief executive officer, said, “Blue Foods has consistently strived to provide a great dining experience to its guests through its various brands in multiple locations in a number of cities.”
“To address the need for gift cards for our patrons, we have become associated with QwikCilver Solutions. They bring to the table not just domain expertise, but also the fact that they are spread across several categories,” he added.
“They gave us the possibility of bringing our multiple brands under a single product, which would give consumers the option of dining in any of our formats. Blue Foods hopes to connect to a larger audience with the QwikCilver gift cards,” Narayanan added.
Pratap T P, co-founder and chief marketing officer, QwikCilver Solutions, said, “This tie-up is both significant and exciting for us. Blue Foods, being one of the one of the finest restaurant chains, would help us widen our spectrum into the hospitality domain.”
“Consumers would be able to purchase these Blue Foods gift cards from anywhere across India from GiftBig.com, which is one of the country’s largest online gift card malls,” he added.
“An ideal way of celebrating one’s special occasion is usually a fine dining experience, and with BlueFood's varied brands, we hope the gift card becomes as preferred as other categories,” Pratap said.
