Though today hygiene is the top priority it is the ways of implementation to improve on quality through GMP, GHP and varied certifications.

Food & Beverage has done a fine job in covering a wide spectrum of issues relevant to the industry - be it taxation, government policies, acquisitions in the business or new launch. Also, all sectors of F& B industry are given due importance.
One would, however, like to see a B2B section added, if possible, that could facilitate commercial dealing/transaction within the industry. Also, a sector-wise listing could be very helpful.

On a scale of 10, I would place Food & Beverage News on eight while I would place other magazines on three. Food & Beverage News is aptly focusing on policy issues and regional developments.
The magazine should focus on helping the policy makers and other key stakeholders to improve the country's agriculture output in the coming years. Agriculture output should be put into best use in the country.

Horticulture in India will grow enormously and the same is in the case of Andhra Pradesh. Food & Beverage News is covering wide areas relating to the sectors. I hardly find anything missing. But, I have one suggestion. The magazine can take up in each issue one commodity and try to evaluate what progress has been made by the farmers and the industry in terms of value addition in that commodity.
For instance, Soya may be cultivated in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and several other States in India and also in the US. One should find out if there is any difference in the quality of output in different regions and associated reasons. In US, the agriculture sector is said to be worth around $40 billion, while the food industry in the country is $960 billion. If the US food industry can build such a base on agriculture, what is lacking in India, needs to be checked. Also evaluation on raw materials sourced and availability of raw materials besides nutrient value in
