The hottest collab for a food lover is what happens. Muthuswamy, Mumbai’s legendary caterer, and Naagin, creators of the first Indian hot sauce, teamed up to create something new using the best of both worlds. A cult collaboration of old school values and new age style in the form of an experimental photoshoot that takes its chemistry to the streets at Muthuswamy’s iconic South Indian food destination Arya Bhavan.
Naagin’s most recent hot sauce product, The 65, found instant favour with the local restaurant and catering legend and the enigmatic ‘main character’ energy in the photoshoot really shines through. The secret sauce between the unlikely duo’s perfect fit? A shared ethos around delivering authentic taste and classic South Indian flavours working perfectly together to create a delicious and unique blend, one you won’t believe hasn’t already existed for decades!
The 65 hot sauce by Naagin is made with Karnataka's famous Byadgi Chillies so you'll notice (well, taste) the benefits almost right away, while the earthy goodness of Indian spices comes from pantry favourites like turmeric, cumin, and coriander seeds. The product brings you the taste and aroma of the original ‘65’ flavour from Tamil Nadu in a convenient, ready-to-use sauce format that promises restaurant-quality taste at home!
Muthuswamy’s challenge was to curate authentic Udupi recipes infused with The 65, in a way that stayed true to the dishes. Needless to say, it’s a challenge no more.
