MoFPI seeks proposals for setting up multi product food irradiation units

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has invited proposals from ‘eligible entities’ from across the country under the ‘component scheme of integrated cold chain & value addition infrastructure’, for setting up multi product food irradiation units.
These projects would be set up under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) as per the scheme guidelines prescribed by the ministry.
According to the MoFPI, the entities are required to submit their proposals online at the SAMPADA portal with relevant details, while no physical submission of proposals shall be accepted.
The ministry, however, did not give the last date and instead stated, “The expression of interest will remain open till sufficient number of proposals are received under the scheme.”
Meanwhile, the ministry in another notice invited proposals for setting up cold chain projects under the PMKSY. The interested entities may apply on SAMPADA portal by July 26, 2025, 17.00 hrs along with the relevant documents.
The entities can refer to the new guidelines issued by the Ministry for the same.
