fiogf49gjkf0d Kshitiz Shekhar was appointed executive chef at Hotel Marine Plaza, a premium brand of Sarovar Hotels & Resorts Mumbai.
The chef, who has 14 years of experience, started his career as an industrial trainee at the Resort, Mumbai.
Before joining Hotel Marine Plaza, Shekhar was executive sous chef for Intercontinental, Marine Drive, Mumbai and took care of kitchen operations.
He also worked with Hotel Sahara Star, Sheraton Saint Louis City Centre in the United States and ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton & Towers.
Shekhar, a guide and trainer of junior chefs, bagged the Nestle Young Star Chef Award in 2005.
