Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative has commenced commercial production of Nano DAP Liquid at two newly set up nano fertiliser plants located in Aonla, Bareilly district and Phulpur, Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh.
Each facility has a daily production capacity of two lakh bottles, substantially boosting the nationwide availability of the advanced liquid fertiliser. “With these two additional plants, IFFCO's total capacity for Nano Fertilisers, including both Nano Urea and Nano DAP, has reached 9.5 lakh bottles per day across its five production units,” the cooperative stated. The expansion is expected to support farmers across India by enhancing access to innovative fertiliser solutions that improve both agricultural productivity and sustainability.
Nano DAP Liquid is a next-generation fertiliser that contains nitrogen and phosphorus in nano-sised particles, offering superior nutrient absorption and utilisation. This innovation is seen as a transformative solution for Indian agriculture, helping to increase crop yields while reducing the overall volume of fertiliser required.
By delivering nutrients more efficiently, Nano DAP Liquid reduces nutrient loss, enhances soil health, and supports sustainable farming practices. Alongside Nano DAP, it has also been producing Nano Urea Liquid, a pioneering development in the Indian agriculture sector.
