Goa’s new restaurant Lollo Rosso promises sprawling green views & delicious meals

Nestled amid lush greenery in the interiors of Anjuna overlooking a scenic paddy field, Lollo Rosso is a treat for the eyes. The large open area features earthy tones and naga bamboo furniture, with a tropical jungle themed bar area that provides a much-appreciated pop of colour.

The thriving green plants inside complement the abundant greens of the palm and other fruit bearing trees outside, setting the tone for a surreal culinary experience that will blow your minds away.

Aalap Shah and Runali Shah, owners, said, “We started Lollo Rosso in Ahmedabad in 2017, with a quaint little outlet and goal to introduce a pioneering concept of bowl meals. After witnessing immense success with two sit-down restaurants in Ahmedabad, we decided to go a step ahead and launch our third restaurant in Goa.”

“Goa has always been close to our hearts and fully complements our hearty food. Built on an unmanageable farmland, Lollo Rosso Goa aims to sustainably provide a home for Goans and tourists to spend quality time and enjoy wholesome meals and delectable drinks. It’s the ultimate amalgamation of sublime flavours presented through artfully and cohesively conceived dishes and we hope that people love it as much as we do,” they added.

The extensive food menu features both veg and non-veg delicacies, mainly focusing on South Asian fare such as Sushi and Dimsums, along with Bowl meals from over 15 different cuisines around the world.

Each visually exciting bowl meal has been created after careful research and is inspired by personal travel anecdotes of the founders. Over 80% of raw materials are imported from their local origins and all of the dishes ensure that they include the perfect ingredients required to make a complete nutritious meal. Even the breakfast menu is designed to include unique flavour profiles so as to give a completely different experience.

Some must-try dishes include Palestinian Eggplant, Gochugaru and Sesame Chicken Little Bowl, Stroganov Bowl, Buffalo Chicken Sushi and the Indonesian Rendang Bowl — each better than the one before! Pair these with their fine gourmet cocktails that complement beautifully, and you have a guaranteed trip to culinary heaven.
