Ciclo Cafe, the bicycle-inspired restaurant brand, has opened its first outlet in Hyderabad and the second overall. It was inaugurated by K T Rama Rao, Telangana’s minister for information technology, municipal administration and urban development.
Speaking on the occasion, Arun Alagappan, president, TI Cycles, said, “We are in this beautiful city with the aim of spreading love for cycling. TI Cycles has always promoted cycling culture in India. We believe cycling is increasingly becoming the most common recreational sport that also builds strong communities.”
“With this unique concept in Chennai having received success, we are excited to open the gates for Hyderabad and will be expanding to other cities soon. Ciclo Café is a pit stop for all and we hope you will love what it has to offer,” he added.
Ashish R Thadani, chief executive officer, TI Absolute Concepts, said, “The etymology of Ciclo comes from both Spanish and Italian. Spain and Italy are associated with cycling in a big way. We are here to promote cycling as a culture, as it is more about passion than a business for us.”
“The cafe provides maintenance and repair services to bikers, who can have a snack while getting their rides fixed, to renting cycles at nominal rates to try your hand at cycling to even purchasing one of your favourite brands of bicycles. I hope the bicycle cafe culture catches on with more and more people in the city of Nizams,” he added.
For a die-hard foodie, Ciclo Café has interesting picks from Filet Mignon to the chef’s special to Carbonara Bleu (creamy egg sauce with bacon and parmesan) to an array of pizzas, lasagnas, sandwiches and soups.
Don’t miss their Sunday breakfast, popular amongst riders who often consider Ciclo Café as one of their pit stops from a long ride. One can indulge in regional flavours from various parts like Punjab, Bengal, etc. The menu also includes dishes suitable for diabetics as well as gluten-free dishes.
