ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd., the super-premium and luxury spirits subsidiary of Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD), announced the launch of Arthaus Blended Malt Scotch Whisky in Bengaluru. This follows successful debuts in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Delhi, Gurgaon, Lucknow and Kolkata. This premium blended malt brings a new dimension to the city’s whisky enthusiasts.

Blended Malt Scotch has been carving its own niche in the whisky landscape, distinctly positioning itself between traditional Blended Scotches and Single Malts in the Indian market. It represents a carefully curated collective blend featuring multiple premium Single Malt whiskies sourced exclusively from Scotland's renowned Highlands and Speyside regions.

It draws inspiration from the world of art, particularly reflecting the geometric minimalism of the Bauhaus movement. The brand architecture incorporates diverse artistic techniques, including drip art, the transition from reality to abstraction, and the textures of palette knives and mixed media. This artistic vision underscores the philosophy that blending exceptional whisky is, in itself, a form of art.

Bikram Basu, managing director, ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd., said, "Arthaus is a beautifully curated Blended Malt Scotch Whisky that we're proud to introduce to Bengaluru. It's quite literally 'Art Bottled.' The creation of Arthaus has been a fascinating exploration of both the art of whisky blending and the world of visual arts in terms of form, expressions, and cultures. We believe Bengaluru, with its appreciation for fine craftsmanship, will embrace Arthaus not only to experience but to become its advocate."
