Sip your milk through unique flavours of Sipahh

Sipahh, the unique milk flavouring straw introduced in Australia in 2005, and spread in New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Italy, Rome, Japan and the US amongst other countries, is now available in India.

It all began with a simple question: "Why is flavoured milk three times costlier and why does it contain so much sugar?" This was the question that led Peter Baron of Australia, inventor of the Unistraw™ Delivery System, to come up with an alternative that would make milk drinking fun, have a wide variety of flavours, be easy to use, have a great taste, and healthy sugar content.

The Indian company AMP Concepts and More Retail LLP has acquired the rights for marketing and distribution of Sipahh in the Indian market. Sipahh was launched in Mumbai, in May 2010. The 5 flavours of Sipahh include chocolate, strawberry, banana, choc mint and cookies & cream. Sipahh could be bought across the shelf at all leading A grade stores in Mumbai, Hypercity outlets (Malad, Vashi & Thane), Haiko Supermarket, Inorbit Mall, Oberoi Mall, High Street Phoenix (Orama Center), Nirmal Lifestyle and Artia Mall (Orama Center).

The Sipahh straw is filled with special UniBeads. As the milk is sipped through Sipahh, the UniBeads dissolve and turn boring white milk into a healthy and delicious drink.

Sipahh works like any other straw. One need not cut or chew. Simply rip it open from any end, dip it in a glass of cold milk (250 ml) and sip.

Any type of milk or milk alternative is great with Sipahh, that include, full cream, reduced fat, skim milk, goats' milk and milk alternatives such as soy, however, the milk needs to be cold.

"Each Sipahh is manufactured according to strict quality standards and under HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point) conditions. Sipahh is also FDA (Food & Drug Administration) safety compliant in the USA," said a statement released by the company.

Sipahh milk flavouring straws, with their feautures like natural colours, no artificial flavours no preservatives, less than ½ teaspoon of sugar are a healthy and fun way to enjoy milk and milk alternatives.

Added, they are gluten free and help deliver the goodness of milk including protein calcium and riboflavin.

A 250 ml serve of Sipahh with reduced fat milk provides the following key nutrients:

● Calcium to help build strong bones

● Protein to help build lean muscles

● Riboflavin to help release energy from food

● Vitamin A & D to help maintain vision & absorb calcium.
