fiogf49gjkf0d Cargill India, one of the largest originators and marketers of food and coarse grains in India, announced the launch of NatureFresh Sampoorna Sharbati Atta, which promises the premium chakki-like quality without the need to visit one.
The product would be available in New Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), and can be purchased at grocery stores and supermarkets in packs of 5kg and 1kg.
To recreate the traditional, authentic taste and aroma of wheat flour for its consumers, Cargill India forayed into the packaged Madhya Pradesh Sharbati flour space by adding this new variant to its existing trusted NatureFresh Sampoorna Atta portfolio.
Aseem Soni, director, Consumer Pack Vertical, Cargill India, stated, “With the launch of Sharbati Atta, we see a clear opportunity to offer high quality wheat flour to our customers.”
“Our strategic direction is to create new product lines keeping in mind the tastes and preferences of our consumers,” he said.
“NatureFresh Sampoorna Sharbati Atta has been developed to suit the taste of the discerning Indian consumers, thawed by the increasing confidence in the NatureFresh brand, and more importantly, the trust that Indian housewives are reposing in all our products,” Soni added.
Grown chiefly in seven districts of Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Sharbati wheat has carved a niche for itself because of its shiny and long grains. Cargill is looking at the traditional chakki atta users who aspire to eat tastier, healthier and softer rotis.
