Garg appointed new sales & marketing director at Grand Mercure Mysuru

Grand Mercure Mysuru, an AccorHotels brand,has appointed Tushar Garg as the new director of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for leading and further improving all aspects of the sales and marketing communications, promoting brand strategies and providing Grand Mercure’s best hospitality experience to the guests.
A seasoned hotelier, Garg has been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. Prior to joining AccorHotels, he was the associate director, sales, Hyatt Raipur. His deep understanding of the hospitality industry is critical to his new role.
Commenting on his appointment, Sachin Malhotra, general manager, Grand Mercure Mysuru, said, ”We are thrilled to have Garg lead the sales and marketing efforts at the hotel.”
“His key expertise lies in developing and implementing sales strategies in sync with market conditions, client engagement, revenue and team management, which makes him the perfect choice for this role,” he added.
After pursing his degree in hospitality and tourism management, Garg started his career with Preferred Hotels & Resorts in the United States, and then went on to hold various positions across leading hotel chains in India and abroad.
