Raw Pressery has launched cold-pressed almond milk in three variants - cacao, coffee and turmeric. Derived from almonds that are sourced directly from farms, it is 100 per cent lactose-free and vegan. It doesn’t contain sugar, preservatives, chemicals or colour. It is available in 250ml bottles priced at Rs 100.

The cacao flavour is made from fresh cacao nibs from South India. The cacao lends an earthiness to the almond milk, but doesn’t contain either surplus calories or the overpowering sweetness.

Raw Pressery’s coffee-flavoured almond milk contains Indian Arabica coffee which has been roasted to perfection. Its turmeric variant is either haldi doodh powered with almonds or a chilled golden latte sans the dairy.

Nut milk is good for the follwoing reasons:
  • Since one out of every five people across the globe is lactose-intolerant, nut milk implies greater choice to the consumer
  • As it comes from almonds, it contains good fat, which helps lower cholesterol and keeps the heart healthy
  • Nut milk has fewer calories than regular dairy
  • Regular dairy makes some people acidic. Nut milk is a gut-friendly alternative. Almond milk, in particular, helps alkalise the digestive system and is a remedy for heartburn and acid reflux
