Madras Diaries, located at Bandra’s Waterfield Road, offers Breakfast Specials. Available from 11am onwards, these meals are prepared by Chef Murugan and his entourage, comprising seven chefs from different parts of Tamil Nadu and are made from locally-procured grains and spices.
The menu comprises Uttapam platter (which consists of assorted uttapams made from green gram, ragi and cholam), Davangere Benne (made from rice and urad dal) and multi-grain idlis (made from urad dal and cream of rice). Other items include Medu Vada, Rawa Upma, Pongal or Sabudana Khichdi.
