Sugarfree sweetener partner of seventh essay of World Tea & Coffee Expo

Sugarfree, a product of Ahmedabad-based Zydus Wellness Ltd and India’s leading sugar substitute brand, is the sweetener partner of the seventh edition of World Tea and Coffee Expo (WTCE), which is slated to be held from at Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre between November 21 and 23, 2019.

It currently holds a 94 per cent market share in the sugar substitutes segment in India, and has launched a number of new-age variants in the last 18 months. It is a lifestyle brand not only for diabetics, but also for the calorie-conscious, busy, and healthy lifestyle-seeking urban dweller with a strong equity amongst consumers, retailers, and health experts (chemists and physicians). It is growing at a rate of 7.5 per cent per annum, and is well distributed across the country, with a presence in approximately four lakh outlets.
 
WTCE is the perfect platform for showcasing the entire range of the company’s products to the visitors from across the country and abroad. In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, visitors and exhibitors will be able to sample and experience its complete range of offerings.

The 2019 essay of WTCE, South Asia’s largest globally-recognised trade show for the tea, coffee and allied sectors, will witness the participation of over 80 exhibitors from six countries, who will showcase the latest innovative products, machineries, equipment, packaging, technologies, vending solutions, flavours, retail chains, sugar/sweeteners, certifications, premixes, Government boards, consultants, accessories and other technologies.

The 2018 edition had hosted 70-plus companies, including pavilions from Tea Board of India, Sri Lanka Tea Board, Indonesia and Nepal, showcasing their best to over 3,750 visitors, comprising retailers, wholesalers, distributors, HoReCa (hotel, restaurant and catering) professionals, hypermarkets/multi-product retail chains, tea/coffee estate owners, importers/exporters, potential franchisees, purchase managers of medium-to-large offices, etc.

Additional activities planned at the expo include B2B (business-to-business) match-making, workshops and championships, a high-level two-day conference by industry leaders, academicians, policy makers, etc.

WTCE offers the only annual opportunity to have one-on-one interaction with serious market players and understand changing hot beverage market scenario. With mushrooming upscale retail chains in India making it a global hub for the tea, coffee and allied sectors, this year’s event is set to offer an unparalleled networking opportunity for serious industry players to meet and undertake business as also to understand and determine future trends.
