We will expand the KFC chain in the country to 110 restaurants by end of the period, from 50 now. Our new restaurants will have a totally new decor packaging intended to give a more contemporary look."

The company also seeks to foray in chilled beverages market with its newly launched store-in-store concept of "Krushers" in the KFC restaurants. "The chilled beverage zones have already proved to be a big hit since their launch earlier this month. Krushers is being branded separately within the KFC restaurants and we hope the beverage will form at least 10-15% of our total sales by this year end," Chaudhary added.
