Rampur, the Indian single malt by Radico Khaitan Limited, the largest Indian spirits company, will be available at select locations in New Delhi.
It had a global launch in Las Vegas in 2016 and soon gained global recognition. It is currently available the world over and at select airport duty-free outlets in Dubai, Sharjah, Maldives, Hyderabad and Delhi.

The super-premium malt whiskey is named after Radico Khaitan’s first distillery in Rampur and is aged, distilled and matured in the foothills of the scenic Himalayas.

It is steeped in the rich Indian heritage, having been distilled in traditional copper pots, and is produced as a non-chill filtered single malt.

Rampur is available in a distinguished and luxurious canister packaging with the bottle wrapped in a hand-crafted silk pouch. The bottle is stout and extremely robust looking with a thick base.

It is golden amber in colour, and has a malty and creamy vanilla flavour, along with a hint of fruits like apricot and apple. It has a sweet and winey taste.

The aroma of Rampur is rich in fruity top note, has toffee in the background, and contains floral, honey and dried fruit flavours with the hint of balanced spices.

Speaking on the launch, Abhishek Khaitan, managing director, Radico,Khaitan said, “It is an honour for Radico to have created India’s first single malt whiskey - Rampur, which has achieved international love, fame and honour.”

“Today, after achieving global success, it is my honour to bring Rampur back home and give a taste of India’s finest single malt to the malt connoisseurs of India,” he added.

Rampur Indian single malt has already bagged the gold award at the Monde Selection Quality Awards and a double gold at the World Wine and Spirits Awards. It is rated amongst the top five world whiskies by Whiskey Cask Magazine US before it launched in the domestic market.
