inery Pvt Ltd based at Vinchur located in the Nashik Valley. They have the privilege of being first in the Vinchur Wine Park. Vinsura is the third brand in India to produce sparkling wine made from wine variety grapes. They have a wide range of wines to satiate the palate of wine lovers at WFA 2006.

"We are the first time participants and wish to introduce our wine to the Asian market and develop new business contacts in the trade," said Nitin Mohite, director - sales and marketing, Vinsura Wines.

On Asia's demand for wine poised for long-term growth in the foreseeable future, Mohite said, "Asia is an untapped market. However, there is a need to develop the wine culture by generating awareness about wine as a health drink as also about the benefits of wine and the process of making wine."

Chairman Pralhad Khadangale along with Kishor Holkar, Sadashiv Nathe and winemaker M P Sharma, started the winery in 2002. Today Sanjay Holkar and Dr Pradeep Pawar are contributing to the growth of Vinsura. The wine is well appreciated all over India by connoisseurs.

The first batch of Vinsura wines was released in the year 2003 with an overwhelming response. Starting with the capacity of 185,000 litres on 65 acres of land, the production capacity is now being increased by 300,000 litres, which will give a strong presence to the well-established market for Vinsura alongwith more than 150 acres of company-owned vineyards.

In terms of sales, Vinsura sold more than 10,000 cases across India last year and is planning to cross over to 20,000 cases this year. Today Vinsura is one of the first five fastest growing wine companies in India, thanks to total quality control, well-established distribution network and a fine sales team.
