TUV SUD awards AP-based Dodla Dairy EnMS ISO 50001:2011 certification

fiogf49gjkf0d TÜV SÜD South Asia has awarded ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System certification to the Andhra Pradesh-based Dodla Dairy Limited (DDL).
This new certification will enable Dodla Dairy Limited, one of Andhra Pradesh's leading dairy product manufacturers, to induce process-driven alterations in their systems in order to improve energy efficiency, use and consumption, save costs, and cut greenhouse gas emissions. This would directly help the company consolidate its leadership position in
the state of Andhra Pradesh by means of innovative utilisation of funds to improvise upon their product offering and consumer outreach. The ISO 50001:2011 standard is not target-oriented and any organisation can implement it by establishing a baseline and improving at a self-regulated pace. It plays a significant role in reducing their overall energy consumption while manufacturing and develop a framework to integrate energy performance into production practices. B V K Reddy, general manager, Dodla Dairy Limited, said, "Dodla Dairy Ltd (DDL) becomes the first dairy in India to obtain the Energy Management system (EnMS) Certification - ISO 50001:2011.
