Mutti launches authentic pizza and pasta sauces tweaked for Indian palate

Mutti, an Italian manufacturer of tomato-based products, launched its pizza and pasta sauces in India on Thursday. The company has chosen Delhi NCR for its entry in India, which will be followed by top metros.
According to a press release, the company has created a special product which is crafted with premium Italian tomatoes, Italian herbs and dressing for creating the real flavour of Italy. It adds, the spice notes, however, are accentuated to appeal to the Indian palate to create the tastiest pizza / pasta sauce in the country.
Francesco Mutti, MD, Mutti Worldwide, said, "After exploring the food market across the world, India was the most awaited destination. Indians have and are experimental in trying out new cuisines and tastes. We want to bring an authentic Italian experience to Indian kitchens. The pasta and pizza that we are introducing here under the brand Francesco Mutti has a special Indian touch which is mildly spicy as per the Indian palate but this is done without having to sacrifice the true Italian authenticity and values."
"We are here to redefine the pasta and pizza category and to take it to new horizon so that Indian consumers are able to cook pasta / pizza at home with true authentic Italian values and heritage to differentiate us from rest of the market," Mutti added.
