Yauatcha India has partnered with Giggling Monkey Studio to launch ‘House of Fortune’, a festive patisserie collection for Diwali. Inspired by the whimsical concept of The Good Fortune Supermarket, the collection brings together artisanal chocolates, macarons, mooncakes, petits gâteaux and tea cakes for festive dining and gifting.

The collection combines European patisserie techniques with familiar Indian flavours, with creative packaging featuring illustrations by Mehek Malhotra, founder of Giggling Monkey Studio. Designed around themes of joy, prosperity and togetherness, House of Fortune presents a selection of festive treats with varied flavour profiles, textures and ingredients.

Udai Pinnali, CEO, Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality, said, “The collaboration reflects the brand’s focus on making festive gifting memorable and meaningful. He added that Yauatcha’s Diwali collections have provided a platform for emerging artists and creative voices, bringing together art, culture and patisserie.”

The collection features several petits gâteaux, including Chocolate Fudge, an eggless chocolate cake layered with praline crunch, caramel, chocolate mousse and ganache frosting, served with coffee ice cream. The Milk Chocolate Pecan Pie combines crisp pastry with milk chocolate ganache and pecan ice cream, while Peach Melba features orange joconde, mandarin jam, peach melba compote, a crunch insert and white chocolate mousse, served with peach sorbet.

Another highlight is Mangosteen and Pink Dragon, a sugar-free creation made with dates and carrot sponge, cheesecake, dragon fruit and mangosteen mousse, served with cream cheese ice cream.

The mooncake selection includes Coconut Malai, Carrot and Mawa, and Moong Treasure. The Carrot and Mawa variant draws inspiration from the Indian dessert gajar halwa, offering a familiar festive flavour in a contemporary format.

The collection also features macarons in flavours such as Bounty Coconut, Kashmiri Kahwa, Lychee, Passion Fruit and Earl Grey, Jasmine, and Camomile and Lemon Rose, bringing together traditional flavour inspirations and contemporary combinations.

Sharing the inspiration behind the collaboration, Mehek Malhotra said the concept was rooted in the idea of good fortune and the desire to create a collection that reflects the warmth and colours of Diwali without relying on conventional festive patterns. Her illustrations bring the imaginative world of the Good Fortune Supermarket to the collection’s packaging.

House of Fortune is available for dine-in and retail purchase at Yauatcha outlets across Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru. Select offerings are also available for delivery, allowing customers to enjoy the festive patisserie collection at home or share it as gifts during the festival.
