World of Hospitality Expo : Uniting buyers & sellers in HoReCa segment

The upcoming edition of World of Hospitality Expo is being held from January 23 to 25, 2024, in Hall No.1 at Nesco Ground, Goregaon, Mumbai. The expected number of visitors is 9,000-plus, and more than 200 exhibitors participating in the exhibition this year. The World of Hospitality organises three major roadshows in Mumbai, Goa and Bengaluru. The expo is committed to fostering connections, driving innovation, and enhancing the overall success of businesses in the HoReCa sector. There will be a special Government Pavilion and participation by Kerala Bureau of Industrial Promotion.

Steena Joy, editor, World of Hospitality Magazine, said, “Our annual edition of the World of Hospitality Expo will be held in Mumbai from January 23 to 25, 2024. More than 200 exhibitors will be showcasing their products for the HoReCa sector. We also have an exciting lineup of events starting with GM’s Conclave, Chef’s Panel and Incredible Housekeepers Honours where industry leaders will discuss crucial points transforming the sector in today's time. These panels become an attractive addition to the event as many gather to gain deeper insights from the industry stakeholders. Further, the Incredible Chefs Challenge will be the highlight with a range of competitions being held all through three days. Anyone related to the hospitality segment should not miss the event.”

Continuing the trend of focused interactions and meaningful conversations, the event themed, ‘Are you ready to be WOWed?’ Beyond being a sourcing hub, the World of Hospitality Expo provides a rich experience with special events, workshops, culinary competitions, and chef demonstrations, offering attendees the opportunity to explore exciting new avenues in the field.

Apart from the renowned exhibitors, the show will also host an Incredible Chef’s Challenge in association with the Western India Culinary Association (WICA), Masterclasses, GM’s Conclave and Chef’s Panel including numerous other Fireside Chats that enhance the experience of the visitor by diving into interesting topics, currently changing the dynamics of the industry.

Like every year the exhibitor profile consists of Hospitality Technology, Commercial Kitchen and Refrigeration Equipment, Access Control, Interior Design, Furniture and Furnishings, Housekeeping, Guest Supplies, Tableware, Crockery and Cutlery, Food and Beverages, Packaged Foods, Dairy Products, Coffee, Bakery & Confectionary and Pork, Seafood & Poultry.

Similarly, the visitors shall include hoteliers, restaurants, executive chefs, e-commerce buyers, baristas & cafe owners, bakers, airline, cruise & travel, caterers, F&B professionals, CEOs, general managers, purchase managers, professional caterers, project consultants and system integrators.

The three-day event hosts a special session on the Power of Procurement, wherein key purchase decision-makers share deep insights and trends in the industry. However, this year a masterclass will be held with Dr Nitin Shankar Nagrale, founder of HPMF (Hotel Purchase Managers Forum), and CEO of India and Emerging Markets on January 23, 2024, at the World of Hospitality Expo, Mumbai 2.30 pm to 3:30 pm. The renowned Incredible Chef’s Challenge will continue this year in collaboration with WICA (Western India Culinary Forum).

The event is supported by Hotel Purchase Managers Forum (HPMF), National Restaurants Association of India (NRAI), Dry Cleaners Launderers Association of India, iProfessional Housekeepers Association (iPHA), Food Service Distributor Association of India, the Mahabaleshwar Hotel Owners Association, Kolhapur Caterers Welfare Association, Food Service Consultants Association of India, Poona Hoteliers Association, H&RA Western India Hotel And Restaurant Association Western India, Nashik Jilah Caterers Association, Assocham (The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India), CASMB (Chambers of Advancement of Small & Medium Business), WICA (Western Indian Culinary Association).

Incredible Chefs Challenge aims to become one of the largest and most diverse culinary competitions in the country where culinary craftsmen get to showcase their skills and learn from the best in the industry. The aspiring chefs compete in competitions like Live Cooking, Cake Decorations, and Themed Cake among many others. This year World of Hospitality Expo has partnered with Western India Culinary Association to bring forward the key trends in the industry and make it an enriching experience. One of the most renowned events by World of Hospitality Expo, it receives more than 200 registrations for the three-day event.

GM’s Conclave is a platform for top hotel management across the industry to come together and share insights on business operations, customer experience, technology advancement and people development. The GM of top hotels in Mumbai and Pune will be present sharing their thoughts on the Western market in India.

Hotel Kitchen Consultants Forum, a consultant forum for restaurant and hotel kitchen operators will interact with seasoned consultants and professionals to learn from their experiences and go through case studies and white papers on the subject that will help them evaluate planning methods for their facility and integrate optimal space management.

As part of the Housekeepers Conclave, a first-of-its-a-kind panel discussion, will be held where a leading housekeeper will share insights on the latest trends in housekeeping, which would focus on eco-friendly products, cost-saving, tracking codes, inventory management and most importantly guest satisfaction.
