Wendy’s India, a quick-service hamburger company, has partnered with Instago, an upcoming intra-city travel app, to give its customers an opportunity to experience the app and for Instago’s customers to experience Wendy’s burgers.

The two brands have come together to reach out to people on the go who are looking out for quality experiences at an affordable price point.

In this regard, a user downloads and signs up on the app. Under the menu, there is a promotions tab with the Wendy’s icon. Clicking on it once allows the user to redeem a burger- railway cutlet (veg) or crispy chicken (non-veg) for free. There is a unique code for each user. To make things exciting, if a user shares his/her promo code with three more people who also sign up, the original customer gets another burger. This unique code can be shared with friends, family and colleagues to unlock more burgers.

Commenting on the new association, Arvind Dixit, chief operating officer, Wendy’s India, said, “We are happy to partner with Instago and make our offering accessible to more customers. We’re always keen to engage with potential customers across different platforms and when Instago approached us, we felt the partnership would be a perfect fit. We’re sure it’ll help get a new set of customers, to experience the brand & at the same time offer customer delight for the Instago user.”

Nakul Khanna, co-founder, Instago, stated, “We are excited to partner with Wendy’s and make our user’s experience more special. Discovering new ways to obtain quality and efficient transport services at affordable prices is what we at Instago aim to solve for customers. In Wendy’s we have found a complementary partner that shares our vision of quality and convenience albeit in a different industry.’’
