UPL launches Brucia for maize crop

UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions has launched Brucia, a new post-emergent herbicide designed specifically for maize crop. Leveraging advanced chemistry and a novel active ingredient, Brucia provides Indian maize farmers with a powerful, safe, and efficient solution to combat persistent and resistant weeds.
The product was launched by the company in presence of key channel partners of Karnataka. Brucia will be available for the farmers through dealers, distributors in all the major maize-growing districts. The product offers fast-acting control against a wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds at a low dose of 50 ml per acre when applied at 2 to 4 weed leaf stage. With lower manual effort, and enhanced protection during the early growth stage, Brucia offers maize farmers a smart solution for better productivity and farm profitability. This product is expected to be a game changer for maize growers looking for a cost-effective and time-saving weed management method.
