True Tramm Trunk, a bar and lounge, was launched at Juhu, Mumbai, recently. The launch is in tune with the success of thematic restaurants and bars like Fable and Redbrik Restaurants.

The bar and lounge is spread across 3,000 sq ft, with a private dining area for parties and gatherings with a total capacity of 200 people. The venue has games for entertainment and walls with graffiti as attraction.

Ankit Anand, proprietor, Fable & True Tramm Trunk, said, “The concept of True Tramm Trunk is very straightforward with the ultimate aim being to get you too damn drunk and unleash your fun side. I feel that Mumbai really needed a place where one could simply go and enjoy their drinks wholeheartedly. That’s how the idea of True Tramm Trunk came about with every element giving you a glimpse of what being drunk feels like.”

The bar menu has cocktails inspired from home and heart. Each one of them is hand- crafted. Flavours like Hot Bubblegum- a concoction of Bacardi, Cranberry Juice and Mint syrup are some of the offerings on the menu.

Puneet Gidwani, partner, True Tramm Trunk, said, “I am very excited about this venture and can’t wait for our guests to try the local house-made concoctions. True Tramm Trunk is definitely the place to be at on any given night.”

The offerings will include Drunken Bhel, cheese stuffed Bhavnagari Chillies, veg Sri Lankan curry and sticky rice, and Bhut Jolokia fish burger with onion relish. Starters range from Indian, Oriental to Western cuisines.
