The Resort, Mumbai will conduct a pancake-making workshop between 3pm and 4pm on February 22, 2020. It is to commemorate Shrove Tuesday, which falls on February 25, 2020, and provides the last opportunity to use ingredients such as eggs and fats before the faithful embark on the Lenten fast.
Attendees will learn to make thin, flat varieties of pancakes, using batter, and fry them in a frying pan with golden syrup or lemon juice and castor sugar as toppings.
The pancakes that will be taught at the workshop will include Red Velvet, Classic Velvet, Chocolate Velvet and Japanese Velvet Pancake.
