The Chocolate Box and Lounge (which is the flagship F&B chain of MBD Group, and has outlets at Radisson Blu MBD Hotel, Noida and MBD Neopolis, Ludhiana) has bagged the Best Patisserie Award at the second essay of the Travel + Leisure India and SA Readers’ Choice Delicious Food Awards 2019.

The award, which recognised the best in travel, leisure and food based on a readers’ poll, was presented at a ceremony which took place at The Imperial, New Delhi.

It was a fitting recognition by the readers of Travel + Leisure India and SA as the specially-crafted delicious chocolates, colourful range of macarons and an endless display of designer cakes at TCB are not just about the taste, but also about an unforgettable experience.

For over 15 years, it has been acclaimed as one of the most innovative brands of the MBD Group. The patisserie has won several prestigious awards in the past for its gastronomical innovations, unparalleled selection and fantastic traditional dishes with modern and playful touches.

Commenting on the win, Sonica Malhotra, joint managing director, MBD Group, said, “Winning this prestigious award is a recognition of our continued commitment to excellence and providing authentic experience to our guests.”

“The award also encourages us to provide more options to food lovers. We wish to reaffirm our deep commitment to delivering the best culinary experiences and sustaining quality offerings at The Chocolate Box,” she added.

“MBD Group has an aggressive plan to expand TCB’s footprint in next five years, which includes 100 lounges across India at premium high-street destinations and luxury malls in gateway cities and state capitals. We will continue to provide memorable services to our existing as well as prospective guests in future as well,” Malhotra said.
