Tetra Pak unveils “AI-Ready” factory OS to revolutionize F&B manufacturing
Thursday, 06 November, 2025, 14 : 00 PM [IST]
Dubai
Tetra Pak has launched a major new automation and digitalization platform called Tetra Pak Factory OS, designed to transform food and beverage (F&B) production sites into "AI-ready" smart factories. Unveiled at the Gulfood Manufacturing event in Dubai, the new platform promises to deliver a powerful solution for F&B manufacturers grappling with mounting cost pressures and sustainability goals.

The Factory OS is positioned as a critical tool for boosting efficiency by providing seamless, real-time data integration across all factory equipment. By standardizing data, the platform offers a unified user interface for instant monitoring of materials, quality, and production lines.

"Today, F&B producers must deliver more with fewer resources—less water, less energy, less waste—all while maintaining quality and reducing costs,” said Sean Sims, VP, Automation & Solutions at Tetra Pak. He stressed that the Factory OS converts production complexity into clarity, equipping producers with the contextualized data necessary for effective AI adoption.

A recent study by Tetra Pak demonstrated the necessity of such digitalization, finding that highly automated beverage factories achieve 20% higher overall equipment effectiveness and 45% lower product waste compared to less automated facilities.

Developed in collaboration with partners including Accenture, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation, the modular and scalable platform aims to overcome the industry's digital divide. Tetra Pak asserts that by integrating advanced technology with deep F&B production expertise, the Factory OS will help producers build a resilient, efficient, and sustainable factory of the future.
