At Drinktec India 2025, Tetra Pak unveiled a suite of innovations designed to help beverage manufacturers reduce total operational costs while driving sustainability and efficiency. The company’s showcase featured a range of Made-in-India technologies and next-generation solutions that align with the evolving needs of India’s dynamic beverage industry.

Key highlights included a locally manufactured horizontal filter for sugar syrup, India’s first beverage carton made with recycled polymers, and value-based beverage concepts tailored to the changing Indian consumer palate. Together, these innovations underline Tetra Pak’s commitment to enabling producers to “deliver more with less” combining productivity gains with environmental responsibility.

“India’s beverage industry is at an inflection point—where cost leadership, innovation, and sustainability are interdependent imperatives,” said Saurabh Sinha, Managing Director, Tetra Pak India. “Our showcase demonstrates how purposeful innovation can empower producers to enhance efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.”

The company presented a host of technologies aimed at reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO). These included the Sustainable Beverage Line, engineered to cut energy and water use; the Tetra Pak In-line Blender B for precision blending, and the Tetra Pak E3/Speed Hyper, the world’s fastest aseptic carton filling machine capable of 40,000 packs per hour.

Tetra Pak also spotlighted formulations for functional, low-sugar, and protein-enriched beverages, catering to India’s growing health-conscious market, alongside flexible systems for startups seeking rapid market entry.

Reinforcing its sustainability goals, Tetra Pak introduced India’s first carton using 5% certified recycled polymers, produced at its ISCC PLUS-certified Chakan facility.

By merging data, design, and sustainability, Tetra Pak aims to shape a future-ready beverage ecosystem, where efficiency, innovation, and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.
