Syensqo to showcase nature- and science-driven food & pet nutrition innovations at FI Europe 2025
Monday, 17 November, 2025, 13 : 00 PM [IST]
Brussels, Belgium
Syensqo is set to highlight its expanded portfolio of nature- and science-inspired ingredients at Food Ingredients (FI) Europe 2025, including its official entry into the fast-growing pet food nutrition market. With consumers demanding cleaner labels, natural ingredients and improved taste experiences, the company will showcase solutions that enhance flavor, freshness and product reliability across food, beverage and pet nutrition categories.

At the event, Syensqo will present a strong line-up of innovations built around natural antioxidants, advanced flavor molecules and clean-label preservation technologies. Among the key highlights is Riza, a range of natural antioxidants derived from wild rosemary. Available in liquid and powder formats, Riza offers food manufacturers a natural alternative to synthetic preservatives while extending shelf life and preserving freshness.

The company will also display its well-known vanillin solutions, including Rhovanil, a high-purity vanillin available in multiple grades for bakery, confectionery and beverage applications. Syensqo recently announced the restart of its synthetic vanillin production unit in Saint-Fons, France, by the end of 2025, a move expected to strengthen supply reliability in Europe. Its bio-based counterpart, Rhovanil Natural, derived through fermentation, meets both EU and US natural flavor labeling standards. Also featured is Rhodiarom , an ethyl vanillin offering three times the flavor intensity of standard vanillin.

For the first time, Syensqo will showcase dedicated pet food solutions in the FI Europe Pet Food Zone. These include Rhovea Feed, a vanillin grade designed to enhance palatability and mask off-notes in pet food, and Riza 35, a deodorized rosemary extract that provides strong antioxidant protection without altering taste or aroma.

Syensqo experts will lead a technical session titled “Extending Shelf Life Naturally with Rosemary Extracts” on December 2, followed by live tasting demos at Hall 7.2, Booth K54, where visitors can experience how nature- and science-driven ingredients elevate flavours across sweet foods, crackers and beverages.
