Shanghai Club, at ITC Grand Central, Parel, Mumbai, has launched the all new menu, comprising specialities from five regions in China (viz. Sichuan, Hunan, Canton, Shanghai and Beijing). It was the result of a five-month-long culinary journey by the kitchen team at the restaurant, which encompassed the five regions.
It includes the fresh flavours of Shanghai, the primitive flavours of the Canton region, the imperial delicacies of Beijing, and the fierce cuisines of Sichuan and Hunan.
Its flavours showcase a cuisine philosophy that combines with contemporary interpretations from the eyes of master chef Yuanzhong Jia.
The menu offers a plethora of choices with dishes like Crispy Lobster tossed with Sichuan peppers, Braised red snapper and black mushroom in Beijing style chilli sauce, Braised chicken and mushrooms in a unique Cantonese barbecue sauce, Shanghai Style Stir-fried flat rice noodles with pokchoy and vegetables, to name a few.
A table for two is priced at Rs 2,800 plus taxes. Lunch will be served between 12:30pm and 2:45pm, while dinner will be served between 7pm and 11:45pm.
