Schreiber Dynamix inaugurates fully automated dryer at MIDC in Baramati

To meet the growing consumer demand for safe and hygienic milk powder for infant food and other high-quality dairy ingredients in India, Schreiber Dynamix Dairies Pvt Ltd inaugurated its first state-of-the-art fully automated dryer built and installed by GEA at MIDC in Baramati.

The infant nutrition, which plant comes at an investment of Rs 250 crore, was inaugurated by Mike Haddad, president and chief executive officer, Schreiber International; Amitabh Ray, chairman and managing director, Schreiber Dynamix Dairies Pvt Ltd, and Francois Salamon, president, Schreiber International.

Ray said, “The investment is raised through internal accruals. The capacity of the plant will be 15,000 tons a year. We will use the facility to its fullest capacity in the coming two or three years. As of now, the products are for our clients and the domestic market.”

Haddad said, “Schreiber Dynamix has been catering to the Indian dairy market for over two decades now. The continued patronage of our customers has encouraged us to build and invest in the new facility.”

Salamon said, “India is a growing market with huge potential, and we are sure that the investment of over $100 million in the past decade will help us cater to the growing demand. We are also continuing to explore further investment opportunities.”
