Sayaji Hotel Pune has appointed Chef Bhuvanesh Kalburgi as its new executive chef, bringing more than 25 years of experience across culinary operations, hotel management, pre-opening projects and hospitality leadership to the property.
Chef Bhuvanesh has built his career across diverse hospitality environments, combining culinary creativity with operational discipline and a strong focus on quality, consistency and team development. He served as executive chef at Hilton Garden Inn Hinjewadi, where he led culinary operations with an emphasis on innovation, efficiency and guest satisfaction.
His experience includes managing complex kitchen operations, working with cross-functional teams and developing systems that balance operational efficiency with the overall dining experience. His expertise in pre-opening projects has also enabled him to establish kitchen operations from the ground up while maintaining standards of quality and service.
He will lead the culinary team and oversee food and beverage operations across the property. His priorities will include evolving the hotel's culinary offerings, introducing new food experiences, strengthening kitchen operations and nurturing culinary talent while responding to the preferences of its diverse clientele.
