Sattvik Certifications is set to host the world’s first dedicated vegetarian certification conclave – SATCON 2026 on January 19, 2026, at Le Méridien, New Delhi, bringing together key stakeholders to advance verified vegetarian and vegan food systems. The full-day conclave, scheduled from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm IST, is expected to attract over 250 participants from FMCG, luxury hospitality, education, certification bodies and policy institutions.

Positioned around three core pillars—consciousness, connect and collaboration—SATCON 2026 aims to create a more aware, transparent and interconnected food ecosystem. With delegates and partners from seven countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the UAE, Qatar and South Korea, the conclave will serve as a global platform for exchanging best practices, building partnerships and aligning industry efforts with evolving consumer expectations.

Speaking on the occasion, Abhishek Biswas, Founder, Sattvik Certifications, said the conclave represents years of purpose-driven efforts to promote purity and trust in food systems. “Our aim is to connect intent with action, policy with practice, and purity with progress, guided by the belief that Sattvik hai to shuddh hai,” he noted.

The event will feature a series of panel discussions and keynote sessions covering education-led Sattvik awareness, vegetarian opportunities in luxury hospitality, conscious leadership strategies, mindful culinary approaches, and the development of global food standards. Inaugural and closing sessions will focus on strengthening compliance, food safety and ethical consumption through collaborative pathways.

Chief guests Santosh Gangwar, Governor of Jharkhand, B.L. Verma, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment and Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice, highlighted the importance of such platforms in bridging gaps between industry, policymakers and consumers.

SATCON 2026 seeks to translate conversations around ethical and vegetarian standards into actionable outcomes that benefit consumers, businesses and the broader food industry. Rooted in vedic principles of purity and balance, the conclave underscores the growing global demand for credible vegetarian and vegan certification systems based on trust, sustainability and compliance.

As the first event of its kind, SATCON 2026 is poised to set a new benchmark in conscious food certification, reinforcing Sattvik Certifications’ commitment to driving responsible and transparent food practices under the banner #SattvikHaiToShuddhHai.
