In a major step toward transforming India’s rice cultivation landscape, Rallis India Limited, a Tata enterprise and a leading player in the agri-inputs industry, has partnered with Paryan Alliance Pvt. Ltd. as the licensed technology partner for fullpage herbicide tolerance rice technology in India. The collaboration is expected to accelerate the adoption of sustainable, climate-smart rice farming practices across the country.

Under this partnership, Rallis India will roll out FullPage, an advanced and integrated rice cropping system that brings together herbicide-tolerant seeds, compatible crop protection inputs and tailored agronomic practices. The system is specifically designed to strengthen the adoption of Direct-Seeded Rice (DSR) — a method increasingly viewed as a long-term solution to the challenges of water scarcity, rising labour costs and climate stress.

FullPage technology helps farmers achieve improved weed control, higher productivity and significant savings in water and operational costs. With India cultivating rice across more than 44 million hectares, the technology promises transformative benefits. It also supports reduced methane emissions, aligning with India’s sustainability and climate goals.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Gyanendra Shukla, managing director & CEO, Rallis India, said, “At Rallis India, we are committed to enabling farmers with innovative and sustainable technologies that address key agricultural challenges. Our collaboration with Paryan reinforces our focus on delivering climate-smart solutions that enhance productivity while promoting resource efficiency and environmental sustainability.”

Echoing this sentiment, Shirish Barwale, executive director, Paryan, said, “We are delighted to partner with Rallis India, a trusted name in Indian agriculture. With Rallis’ strong farmer connect, we look forward to accelerating the adoption of FullPage technology, making rice farming more efficient, profitable and sustainable.”

The partnership strengthens Rallis India’s strategic focus on next-generation seed technologies within its Dhanya brand and reinforces its position in the high-potential rice segment.

Timeline for Introduction

Rallis will initiate field demonstrations and data collection across key rice-growing states beginning 2026, with pilot demos and limited commercial sales slated for the Kharif 2026 season. The phased rollout will be supported by farmer training, stewardship and sustainability protocols to ensure responsible and effective adoption of the technology.

The collaboration marks a shared vision between Rallis India and Paryan to drive innovation-led agricultural growth while delivering meaningful benefits to farmers and the environment.
