Pride Hotels & Resorts launches Pride Plaza Indore

Pride Hotels & Resorts, awarded as India’s Leading Group for Hotel Group Expansion 2024 by Business Connect, announced the launch of Pride Plaza Indore, a 141-room upscale property located on AB bypass near Rau positioned as an address for business travel and weddings.
The launch carries special significance for the group, especially for chairman & managing director S.P. Jain, who hails from Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh, this launch is more than a business milestone; it is a homecoming. "It gives us immense pleasure to launch our own hotel in the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh, in Indore. This property holds a special place for us, it is the 8th hotel owned by the group, and to have it here in Madhya Pradesh, the state I call home, makes this moment truly personal for me and for all of us at Pride Hotels,” he said.
With this launch, Indore becomes the only city in Madhya Pradesh to host two Pride properties, Pride Premier Indore and now Pride Plaza Indore including its existing hotels in Bhopal, Ujjain, and Jabalpur, this marks the group's fifth hotel in Madhya Pradesh, reinforcing Pride Hotels' deepening presence in the state.

Founded in 1987 with a single hotel, the group inaugurates its 40th hotel with the opening of Pride Plaza Indore. Pride Hotels & Resorts operates with a balanced portfolio of 40 operational hotels with 3,204 keys; 33 confirmed contracts in the pipeline, adding a further 2,367 keys. A combined footprint of 70+ hotels across India, totalling over 5,500 keys on completion along with 50 + F&B outlets and 3.5 lakh sq. ft of banquet venue. As we move into an exciting new phase of expansion, one of our core strengths has been our strategically located and highly diversified portfolio of hotels and resorts across India. Our presence has been consciously built across key business and gateway markets, high-growth leisure destinations, and culturally significant pilgrimage hubs. This diversification has given us a balanced and resilient portfolio, with 67% of our keys in business markets, 18% in leisure cities, and 15% in pilgrimage destinations allowing us to capture year-round demand from corporate travellers, government business, weddings, MICE, domestic tourism, and social celebrations,” said Satyen Jain, CEO, Pride Hotels Limited.
