As Raksha Bandhan approaches, premium spirits brands are highlighting a range of whiskies and flavoured vodka as gifting options, catering to consumers seeking distinctive and premium experiences during the festive season.
South Seas Distilleries has positioned it’s Crazy Cock Indian Single Malt Whisky – Madhuca III as a premium choice for whisky enthusiasts. The expression is claimed to be the world's first single malt finished in Mahura casks, drawing inspiration from India's unique terroir. The company said the whisky received a Gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) 2026 and was recognised as the highest-scoring Indian whisky in its category.
Meanwhile, Emberstone Irish Whiskey, introduced in India by My Barrel & Beyond, is being promoted as a premium gifting option for consumers who appreciate Irish whiskey. Crafted in Ireland, the whiskey is triple-distilled, non-chill filtered, matured in ex-bourbon casks, and finished in Oloroso Sherry and Banyuls wine barrels. The brand says the production process delivers a smooth and layered flavour profile with depth and balance.
For consumers looking for an Indian blended whisky, Stainley Gold Whisky is being showcased as a festive gifting option. The whisky is produced using matured imported Scotch malts and Indian grain spirit, offering tasting notes of soft oak, vanilla, grain sweetness, and subtle spice. It is suitable for consumption neat, on the rocks, or in classic whisky-based cocktails.
GianChand Original Indian Single Malt Whisky, produced by DeVANS Modern Breweries in the foothills of the Himalayas, is also part of the festive gifting line-up. The single malt features notes of honeycomb, dried apricot, malt sweetness, and spice. The brand recently secured Double Gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the International Whisky Competition, further strengthening its premium positioning.
Expanding beyond whisky, Blue Moon Minty Jamun Vodka is targeting consumers seeking flavoured spirits. The vodka combines the flavour of jamun with a refreshing mint finish and is designed for chilled shots, highballs, and cocktails, offering a contemporary alternative for festive celebrations.
With consumers increasingly opting for premium and experiential gifts during festive occasions, brands across the spirits segment are leveraging innovation, international accolades, and distinctive flavour profiles to strengthen their Raksha Bandhan offerings.
