Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach launches Indian speciality restaurant, Zaffran

Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach celebrated the culinary heritage of North & South India with the grand launch of their distinctive outlet, Zaffran.

With a unison of background music and Indian live performances that instill a sense of calm combined with a high-octane open kitchen with aromatic Indian essence, Zaffran aims to tantalise all your senses. Purely inspired by the Mughlai cuisine of the restaurant, which has been so iconic to the city since it opened, the hotel redesigned the space to be livelier and more welcoming. 

The colour schemes of pinks and blues along with royal and champion colors, afresh new palettes with fabrics and wallpapers designed by various Indian designers. A touch of quirk welcomes guests with the real antique armor opposite the entrance, imbibed with artwork that resembles old playing cards with Mughal princes and princesses.

A lot of artistic elements add depth and layers to the space, like the giant marble elephants at the entrance of the new lobby extension and the intricate cutwork jaalis that are backlit and give a sense of detail to the space.

Zaffran offers an opulent array of delectable choices for the piquant gourmet ranging from exotic vegetarian and non-vegetarian traditional delicacies such as succulent variants of kebabs & biryani from the North and South of India. To elevate the rich culinary legacy of India, Zaffran has gone a mile ahead in bringing together a collection of Indian preparations under the new menu designed by Chef Jamaluddin Khan. The guests can relish the signature dishes such as Zaffrani Royal Platter, Zaffrani Murg Tikka, Gosht Seekh Kebab Zaikedaar, Andaz-e-Paneer, Zaffrani Moti Pulao, Galouti and Royal Biriyanis. For sweet lovers, the menu includes Kesari Ras Malai and Almond Rabri Cake along with many more for one to choose from.

This well-laid-out offering by Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach has been endowed with nature’s canvas, with a pleasant view of the Bay of Bengal best enjoyed from the two private dining spaces at this outlet. The chandeliers add a touch of luxuriousness as it was needed to add that glam and sparkle to complete the dining ambiance.
