Myprotein will commemorate Diwali with the launch of a limited-edition gift box, containing the brand’s recently-launched bars and snacks, such as Baked Protein Cookie, Protein Brownie and Protein Flapjack, and a mini-shaker. Not only is it aimed at fitness lovers in India, but it was also unveiled by fitness enthusiast Bani J.

Each Baked Protein Cookie contains 13.5g of the nutrient (which is sufficient to not only support one’s training regimen, but also to satisfy his/her cravings for sweets during the festive period). It is a vegan-friendly treat with added dark chocolate chunks.

The Protein Brownie contains 22.5g protein mixed with the goodness of chocolate, making it an ideal on-the-go snack.

The Protein Flapjack is packed with protein and carbohydrates, making it the perfect snack to satisfy your post-workout cravings.

The mini-shaker is durable and small, which can be used to mix different kinds of healthy shakes, and can also be carried in one’s gym bag or backpack at all times, because of its convenient size.

All three new products provide a healthy alternative to traditional sweets, so that one does not have to miss out on having a sweet treat.

Esha Singh, general manager, emerging markets, Nutrition and Beauty Brands, said, “This Diwali, we want to give our Indian audience a healthy gifting option. Traditionally, we gift sweets and chocolates that are high in calories.”

“Keeping in line with our motto for the snacks range, Treat without Cheat, we want to give an alternative to the traditional snacks with our protein bars, brownies and cookies, which are not just rich in taste, but also give you a dose of protein,” she added.

“These snacks are not only for gym enthusiasts, but for anyone who wants to take that first step towards a healthier lifestyle. For most of us, this will lay the path for a healthier lifestyle and what better time to start than Diwali,” Singh added.

The boxes will only be available on Myprotein’s portal during the festive season.
