Murshidabadi Utsab to begin at Zambar’s Ambience Mall outlet on Oct 12

Murshidabadi Utsab - a celebration of the cuisine of Murshidabad, a town in West Bengal - is slated to take place between October 12 and 20, 2019, at Zambar’s Ambience Mall outlet in Gurugram.
The amalgamation of the cuisine of the Nawabs and Bengali fare will be curated by chef Syed Mustaque Murshid, a descendant of one of the earliest settlers on the banks of the river Bhagirathi.
The menu will comprise starters such as Posto Boda, Mahi Cutlet, Dhonepala Boda, Murgir Chop and Murshidabadi Seekh Kabab.
Some Murshidabadi specials include Matar Dal Boda (a spicy pea lentil cake with garlic), Gosth Tikia (a Persian-style kebab enriched with Murshidabadi flavours) and Golda Chingdi Lasoon Tikia (Persian-style prawn and garlic patties).
One cannot miss chargrilled Mutton Boti Seekh and Murshidabadi Ghosth Biryani (which has spicy potatoes).
The main course comprises Echorer Ghonto, Darchini Gosht and Bhapa Machand Ghosth Korma accompanied by Gobindo Bhog Rice.
Patrons can end their meals with Ghee Laccha, Chenna Bada and Posto Halwa.
A a la carte meal for two will cost Rs 1,000 on weekdays. While the buffet (which will be served only on weekends) will be priced at Rs 895 plus taxes, the kids’ buffet will be priced at Rs 495 plus taxes.
Lunch will be served between noon and 4:30pm, and dinner will be served between 7pm and 10:30pm.
