Mumbai will commemorate National Baklava Day on November 17, 2019, and four restaurants in the city are gearing up to offer patrons the best variants of the popular Middle-Eastern sweet.
Bayroute
The city’s popular Middle-Eastern fine dining chain will serve Baklava made from age-old layered phyllo pastry with Iranian pistachios and almonds, served with Gulkand ice cream and rose brittles.
Arbab
Arbab is another popular Middle-Eastern restaurant, which serves Lebanese, Mediterranean and Turkish cuisines too. Its Baklava is a popular dish among the patrons.
Mabruk
The Mediterranean restaurant has casual low seating on a wooden deck and offers a spectacular view of the lagoon. Baklava is one of their special dishes.
Souk
Souk offers a selection of freshly-brewed Moroccan mint tea and Turkish coffee, besides Baklava.
