MTR brings back MTR Karunadu Swada, a vibrant two-day food festival celebrating the state’s diverse flavours, traditions, and cultural richness. Scheduled for April 25 & 26, 2026, at Jayamahal Palace Exhibition Centre, the festival promises an immersive journey through Karnataka’s regional cuisines.
From the bold, rustic flavours of North Karnataka to coastal delicacies and the timeless classics of Old Mysuru, guests can explore a thoughtfully curated spread of 75+ authentic dishes. Crafted by home chefs, the menu revives forgotten recipes and seasonal specialties, using hyperlocal ingredients that reflect the depth and diversity of the state’s culinary traditions.
Beyond the food, the festival brings Karnataka’s cultural essence to life with folk and classical performances, traditional music, and art showcases, creating a vibrant, multisensory experience for visitors of all ages.
Designed as a family-friendly indoor celebration, the festival offers multiple entry slots both in the afternoon and in the evening, making it an accessible and engaging outing for the entire community. In the afternoon, there are three slots from 12pm onwards; Evening: Three slots from 7pm onwards.
