Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company) has captured a significant milestone in Indian advertising, uniting the iconic mother-daughter Bollywood duo, Tanuja and Kajol, for the first time on screen in its latest digital film for Kellogg’s Muesli. The campaign centers on the product’s signature 12-in-1 Power Breakfast proposition, emphasizing its appeal across multiple generations.

The digital video campaign (DVC), available on YouTube, aims to highlight the convenience and nutritional diversity of Kellogg’s Muesli, which features a carefully crafted blend of 12 nourishing ingredients. This comprehensive mix includes sought-after components like almonds, oats, seeds, raisins, cranberries, and papaya, offering consumers a breakfast that is both texturally exciting and highly nourishing.

Vinay Subramanyam, Senior Director – Marketing, Kellanova South Asia, commented on the strategic move. “Kellogg’s Muesli is a key product in our portfolio, seeing rapid consumer adoption as people recognize its nutritional diversity. We wanted to accelerate this discovery through an impactful film that brings out the 12-in-1 Power Breakfast proposition in an endearing manner,” Subramanyam said. “The debut of Kajol and Tanuja together on screen perfectly showcases how Kellogg’s Muesli is relevant across generations.”

The collaboration is a strategic alignment, leveraging the celebrities’ intergenerational appeal to reflect the product’s family-wide suitability. The Muesli category in India is growing rapidly, driven by consumer demand for healthier, convenient, and exciting breakfast choices.

As a market pioneer, Kellanova has recently expanded its Muesli 12-in-1 Power Breakfast range to meet evolving consumer tastes. The expanded portfolio now includes varieties such as Fruit, Nuts & Seeds, Nuts Delight, Fruit Magic, 0% Added Sugar, Millet Muesli, Choco Millet Muesli, and Chocolate Muesli.
