MoistTech Corp. will showcase its advanced near-infrared (NIR) moisture measurement technologies at SNX 2026, scheduled to take place from March 29–31, 2026, in Dallas.
Recognised as a leading education and collaboration forum for the snack industry, SNX 2026 will provide a platform for MoistTech to engage with snack manufacturers seeking to enhance product quality, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency across production lines.
At the event, the company will highlight its IR-3000 series of online sensors and at-line instruments, designed for instant, non-contact moisture measurement in snack foods and related ingredients. Moisture levels play a crucial role in determining product texture, taste, colour, density and shelf life, making accurate real-time monitoring essential for meeting quality standards. In addition to moisture, MoistTech’s NIR technology can measure parameters such as coating weight, oil content, and fat or protein levels, enabling deeper process insights.
The IR-3000 sensors are engineered for seamless integration over conveyors, in chutes, bins and other conveying systems commonly used in snack manufacturing and packaging. By delivering continuous moisture data, the system enables operators to optimise dryer temperatures, adjust product flow rates and maintain ideal moisture levels, thereby reducing waste and improving yield.
The company noted that its non-drift optical design, one-time calibration and zero routine maintenance requirements help minimise downtime and lower total cost of ownership. During SNX 2026, MoistTech will participate in one-on-one meetings through the event’s Supplier Suites and Experience Zone to discuss process improvement, energy savings and closed-loop control strategies aimed at boosting operational efficiency and profitability.
