McCain Foods launches V’DGZ brand: Plant & vegetable shareable innovation

McCain Foods, the leading supplier of foodservice frozen appetizer and potato products, announced the launch of V’DGZ (pronounced veggies). This on-trend line of plant and vegetable shareables introduces a playful take on crispy and craveable menu favorites.

As diners look for more vegetable options, the brand makes it simple for restaurant operators to satisfy demand without compromising on quality and taste. With these delicious, prepared vegetable appetisers, the brand streamlines back-of-house prep and makes it easy to prepare creative signature dishes that work all across the menu.
The current portfolio includes three on-trend vegetable products:
• Cauli W’ngz are large, pickled cauliflower florets with a clear, crispy coating that’s perfect for creative saucing or dunking.
• Bruss’lz are fun, shareable lightly seasoned brussels sprouts halves with a crispy crust.
• Corn R’bz are crowd-pleasing, Instagrammable, crispy, sweet corn on the cob curls in a light hickory-smoked batter.
