In a major boost to the state’s industrial ecosystem, Kerala Industries Minister P. Rajeev inaugurated Kerala’s first integrated manufacturing and processing hub, aimed at strengthening the food, nutraceuticals, and allied sectors.
Spread across five acres, the facility brings together cold storage, warehousing, logistics, research & development, and manufacturing under one roof, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the state.
Backed by an investment of Rs 100 crore, the project will be rolled out in two phases. The first phase, expected to be completed within two years, will create a robust supply chain and help attract further investments into Kerala.
The hub, developed by RCC Nutrafills, is projected to generate 500 direct and indirect jobs, supporting both industrial growth and local communities.
Speaking on the occasion, Devarajulu Prasad, director of RCC Nutrafills, said, “Our focus is on creating local employment, fostering skill development, and contributing to Kerala’s economic growth. This hub will act as a catalyst for industries looking at Kerala as a viable manufacturing destination.”
With its integrated model, the facility is expected to reduce operational costs, streamline logistics, and enhance the state’s competitiveness in the food and nutraceutical manufacturing sector.
