Jyoti Global Plast has unveiled its latest innovation, the AeroCrop Agricultural UAS, a precision-engineered drone designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and consistency in crop spraying operations. Backed by over four decades of expertise in plastic and FRP moulding, the company is steadily deepening its footprint in the unmanned systems space. With this launch, Jyoti Global Plast aims to address the real-world challenges faced by Indian farmers and accelerate the adoption of precision agriculture across the country.
The AeroCrop drone has been purpose-built to perform reliably in demanding field conditions. It offers up to 29 minutes of flight time without payload and 22 minutes with payload, supported by a robust 27.5 kg maximum take-off weight. Equipped with a 10-litre tank, the drone uses a combination of flat jet and centrifugal nozzles to deliver consistent droplet size and uniform spraying. Its operational efficiency allows it to cover one acre in just five to eight minutes, enabling farmers to spray up to 30 acres per day while minimising chemical wastage and ensuring even application across diverse terrains.
One of the standout features of AeroCrop is its intelligent radar-based navigation system, which maintains constant flight height, adapts to terrain variations, avoids obstacles, and supports fully autonomous mission execution. This technology not only improves application accuracy but also enhances safety and ease of operation for users, especially those transitioning from manual to mechanised spraying. The drone aims to reduce labour-intensive tasks, improve coverage quality, and safeguard field staff from prolonged chemical exposure.
Commenting on the launch, Deven Shah, Whole Time Director & CEO of Jyoti Global Plast, said the AeroCrop reflects the company’s core philosophy of delivering dependable, practical engineering solutions. “We believe this drone will help farmers adopt precision spraying easily and safely. Our goal is to make modern agricultural tools accessible without compromising on engineering quality or operational stability,” he said.
The AeroCrop introduces a new chapter in the company’s expansion into drone technology. Earlier this year, Jyoti Global Plast launched a surveillance drone equipped with thermal and visual cameras, followed by an industrial cleaning drone designed for high-pressure cleaning of building facades and solar installations. The latter has already received its first commercial order from a solar EPC firm.
With AeroCrop, Jyoti Global Plast strengthens its position in India’s rapidly growing UAV ecosystem, aiming to deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions across agriculture, surveillance, industrial cleaning, and infrastructure support.
