Food Safety Works and the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce will organise the 4th Edition of India Food Safety Conclave Set for August 7, 2026. The day-long conclave will take place on August 7, 2026, at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Hotel at Brigade Gateway, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Industry leaders, regulators, and academicians gather under the theme ‘Navigating Food Safety in the New World of Health & Wellness.’
As the region’s premier platform for food safety and technology, IFSC 2026 will bring together over 200 industry executives, quality assurance leaders, policymakers, researchers, and technology providers. This year's central theme—Navigating Food Safety in the New World of Health & Wellness—focuses on addressing evolving consumer preferences, health-driven product developments, emerging regulatory standards, and cutting-edge technologies reshaping the food ecosystem.
The key highlights are the inaugural & keynote addresses, featuring. Srinivas K, Commissioner Karnataka Food and Drugs Administration and a thematic talk on Responsible Nutrition by Dr. K. Madhavan Nair, Former Assistant Director, National Institute of Nutrition. The platform will take the opportunity to unveil the 3rd Label Awareness Survey Report depicting the national findings on consumer awareness, transparency, and interpretation of packaged food labels.
There will also be the Food Safety Culture Awards recognizing MSMEs and food enterprises across manufacturing, HoReCa, and ingredient sectors that excel in embedding food safety directly into their workplace culture. The poster presentation contest for Students will showcase research, sustainable packaging solutions, supply chain automation, and AI applications developed by student researchers and academics.
Expert discussions & technical panels will cover topics such as functional foods, AI application in food safety management, regulatory risk assessment, and process/formulation design for wellness products.
