Godrej Industries to host third edition of National Chemistry Day Summit

As India's chemical industry navigates geopolitical shifts, supply chain realignments, rapid AI adoption and increasing sustainability expectations, resilience has become central to sustaining long-term growth. Against this backdrop, Godrej Industries (Chemicals) and Astec LifeSciences are hosting the third edition of National Chemistry Day Summit on August 17, 2026, at Godrej One, Mumbai, in honour of the birth anniversary of Sir Prafulla Chandra Ray, regarded as the father of the Indian chemical industry.
Introduced in 2024, National Chemistry Day Summit is an initiative to commemorate the scientific legacy of India, as well as to spark discussions regarding the future of the chemical industry. This year's theme, ‘Staying Resilient in a New Age World’, reflects the growing importance of resilience as businesses adapt to changing market dynamics, technological advancement and an increasingly interconnected world.
Discussions will explore how stronger collaboration between industry, policymakers and innovation partners can help build a more future-ready chemical ecosystem. The event will further explore how agility, digital transformation, and operational excellence can enhance the adaptability of organisations and also the role that Artificial Intelligence plays in the coming phase of development in the industry.
